Shanghai lane house-Fuxing Park

The area of Fuxing park is also a perfect place to live for expats. There a tons of beautiful lane houses and heritage apartments in the area offers high stander living experience.

Situated in Middle Fuxing Road by Chongqing Road, Fuxing Park was built in 1909 and originally known as French Park. There are lots of space and plants, trees, kids play ground in the park. It is a good place to have some fresh air and work out in the central of the city.

Around the Fuxing park, to the west of Xintiandi past Chongqing road is Yandang road. It is a walking street lined with Chinese restaurants, a popular old Shanghaiese noodle house, this is the best way to access the Fuxing park.

South of Fuxing park are a number of sights that are fairly dispersed. There is art, shopping and dining at Taikang Road and Tianzi Fang but also old-world charm at the old Ruijing Guesthouse and Taiyuan Villa.
