A tour of a lane house construction site

Yesterday we were pleased to visit a construction site of a lane house. We usually visit those lane houses during the renovation or after the renovation work has been done. It is our day to day job to come to see the houses first hand and take pictures. We would meet the landlord on site and exchange information such as how the market going recently, do we have any new clients on hand, and does the landlord have other projects… By socializing with the landlords we have built a strong relationship with them. Back to the house we visited yesterday, it is down in a quite lane of Hunan rd. The tree lined Hunan rd is such a beautiful street when Shanghai is slowly into the autumn season. I have passed by the street so many times and couldn’t have enough of it. The lane house was built around 1930s, so it’s almost 80-90 years old. To renovate such an old lane house requires careful design and experienced construction work. You don’t want to destroy an antique. Luckily we have a professional team.
